column_border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Investment projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Law on Public-Private Partnership was enacted on December 7, 2022 and officially entered into force on December 31, 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To ensure the effective implementation of this legal framework and to foster sustainable, high-impact cooperation between the public and private sectors, the &#8220;Public-Private Partnership Center&#8221; State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) was established on October 18, 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Public-Private Partnership Center is mandated to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Support the implementation and long-term development of effective, stable partnerships between the state and the private sector;<\/li>\n<li>Review project proposals submitted by line ministries, local governments (provinces and the capital city) and private enterprises, while providing professional and methodological guidance to all stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with public partners, professional consultants and dedicated project teams to conduct preliminary assessments, comprehensive evaluations, feasibility studies and robust risk analyses for upcoming partnership projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Center currently manages and drives operations across the following pipeline of projects.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][tabbed_section style=&#8221;vertical_modern&#8221; The feasibility study, currently 90% complete, is being prepared by Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), India. The project includes comprehensive assessments of surface and groundwater resources to establish a sustainable water supply system. With a planned storage capacity of 50\u2013100 million cubic meters, the project will strengthen water security, improve the ecological flow of the Tuul River, enhance flood protection, and support future urban expansion, satellite cities, and industrial development.<\/p>\n<p>Key project specifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Water storage capacity: 50\u2013100 million cubic meters<\/li>\n<li>Dam length: 685.15 meters<\/li>\n<li>Dam height: 35.8 meters<\/li>\n<li>Reservoir depth: 19.84 meters<\/li>\n<li>Catchment area: 5,569 km\u00b2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The feasibility study is being developed by Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) of the Republic of India. Serving as Mongolia\u2019s third major east-west transport corridor, this key infrastructure initiative replaces severely deteriorated routes and multi-track dirt roads, restoring vital access to basic social services and mitigating natural hazards such as flooding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"4\">By establishing a paved connection between central and western provincial capitals, the project will enhance logistics efficiency for trade and mining freight, boost tourism, increase regional exports and drive local economic growth. Furthermore, eliminating unpaved tracks will significantly reduce dust pollution, pastureland degradation and soil erosion\u2014establishing essential baseline conditions to preserve Kh\u00f6vsg\u00f6l\u2019s pristine natural environment. Upon commissioning, the facility will produce 292 million kWh of electricity annually\u2014connecting directly to the 220\/110\/35 kV Baganuur Substation via a 220 kV overhead transmission line\u2014while generating an estimated USD 18.2 million (MNT 62.6 billion) in tax revenues and boosting foreign direct investment.
