The series of meetings introducing new investment opportunities in Selbe \u2013 the 20-Minute City to entrepreneurs continued today at the Investor Rights Protection Center (February 12, 2026).<\/p>\n
Organized jointly by the Investment and Trade Department, a implementing agency of the Government of Mongolia, and local partners, the meeting was attended by over 60 investors and business owners who received information on new cooperation and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
Advantages of Selbe \u2013 the 20-Minute City:<\/strong><\/p>\n Decentralization: A new sub-center spanning 158 hectares will be developed to reduce congestion in central Ulaanbaatar.<\/p>\n 20-Minute City: Residents can access work, schools, hospitals, and services within just 20 minutes by walking or cycling, through integrated urban planning.<\/p>\n Green Spaces: 37% of the area is planned for green spaces, parks, and recreational zones.<\/p>\n Modern Infrastructure: Smart city standards with integrated engineering solutions and energy-efficient buildings.<\/p>\n Open sectors for collaboration:<\/strong><\/p>\n Residential with services, business offices, shopping centers, parking facilities<\/p>\n Social infrastructure: smart schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and sports complexes<\/p>\n Investors now have the opportunity to participate in developing the public zones of Selbe City, the future growth area of Ulaanbaatar.<\/p>\n
