{"id":8442,"date":"2026-03-01T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-01T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/investmongolia.gov.mn\/mn\/%d1%86%d0%b0%d1%85%d0%b8%d0%bc-%d1%8d%d0%b4%d0%b8%d0%b9%d0%bd-%d0%b7%d0%b0%d1%81%d0%b0%d0%b3-%d0%b4%d0%b0%d1%85%d1%8c-%d1%8d%d0%bc%d1%8d%d0%b3%d1%82%d1%8d%d0%b9-%d1%8d%d0%ba%d1%81%d0%bf%d0%be\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T16:49:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:49:28","slug":"%d1%86%d0%b0%d1%85%d0%b8%d0%bc-%d1%8d%d0%b4%d0%b8%d0%b9%d0%bd-%d0%b7%d0%b0%d1%81%d0%b0%d0%b3-%d0%b4%d0%b0%d1%85%d1%8c-%d1%8d%d0%bc%d1%8d%d0%b3%d1%82%d1%8d%d0%b9-%d1%8d%d0%ba%d1%81%d0%bf%d0%be","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investmongolia.gov.mn\/en\/?p=8442","title":{"rendered":"WEIDE PROJECT &#8220;SUPPORTING WOMEN EXPORTERS IN ELECTRONIC ECONOMY&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>ProDominicana;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cSupporting Women Exporters in the Digital Economy\u201d (WEIDE) Project<\/p>\n<p>The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the World Trade Organization and the International Trade Centre, has established a National Advisory Committee under the \u201cSupporting Women Exporters in the Digital Economy\u201d (WEIDE) project and successfully held its inaugural meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee aims to increase the participation of women entrepreneurs in e-commerce and exports in Mongolia, improve coordination of policy and financial support, and strengthen public\u2013private sector collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the National Advisory Committee include representatives such as Ms. Zandan, Head of the Investment and Trade Agency; Ms. Saruul, Secretary General of MNCCI; Mr. Davaabayar, Advisor to the \u201cFood Revolution\u201d National Program; Ms. Baigalmaa, Director of SME Banking Division at Golomt Bank; Ms. Regzedmaa, SME Banking Manager at Khan Bank; and Ms. Saruul, CEO of Bogd Bank, among others.<\/p>\n<p>During the first meeting, participants discussed the project\u2019s objectives and progress, challenges faced by Mongolian women exporters in e-commerce and accessing international markets, access to finance, capacity-building needs, and identified priorities for future cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Going forward, the Committee will play a key role in developing and implementing practical recommendations to enhance women entrepreneurs\u2019 participation in the digital economy and expand export opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The project\u2019s objectives include improving:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Access to finance for women entrepreneurs<\/p>\n<p>Digital skills<\/p>\n<p>Access to international markets<\/p>\n<p>Networking and business linkages<\/p>\n<p><strong>Implementing organizations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/p>\n<p>ProDominicana<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO)<\/p>\n<p>Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC)<\/p>\n<p>Under the WEIDE Fund program launched in 2024, a total of 307 applications were received from women-led businesses in Mongolia, of which 46 were selected.
