As part of the Government of Mongolia’s “UNLOCK” national initiative, significant progress has been achieved during the first 100 days in strengthening the country’s investment and trade environment. Key accomplishments include:<\/p>

– Enacted the Law on Economic Freedom, together with amendments to more than 90 related laws, establishing a stronger legal foundation for a competitive, market-oriented economy.<\/p>

– Approved the issuance of Tax Stabilization Certificates for major investment projects, enhancing legal certainty and strengthening long-term investment confidence.<\/p>

– Streamlined business establishment procedures by enabling businesses to obtain registrations and permits electronically through the e-business.mn<\/strong><\/a> platform.<\/p>

– Signed investment agreements totaling USD 545 million during the Expanded Meeting of the Economic Council.<\/p>

– Reached an agreement with Phillip Capital, a Singapore-based investment management company with USD 65 billion in assets under management, to establish an office in Mongolia.<\/p>

– Officially launched negotiations on a Partnership Agreement on Trade and Investment Facilitation with nine Central Asian countries, marking a significant step toward expanding regional economic cooperation.<\/p>

– Accelerated the development of renewable energy projects, creating new opportunities to attract private sector investment.<\/p>

– Continued implementing reforms to reduce state intervention and foster a transparent, competitive, and investment-friendly business environment.<\/p>
